1. The service

I've Seen helps people track movies and television, maintain lists, discover titles and share reviews or comments. It does not provide streaming access. Catalogue, release, recommendation and provider information can be incomplete, delayed or unavailable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these terms. Local law may require a higher age or parental authorisation. Provide accurate registration information, protect your password and do not impersonate another person. One person may not operate accounts to evade a restriction.

3. Your content and licence

You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display it only as necessary to operate the service for the audience you selected. We will not use private or followers-only content to promote the service. Separate permission is required before we use identifiable public content in marketing. The operational licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to short-lived backups and lawful retention.

4. Acceptable use

Do not post unlawful, infringing, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually exploitative or deliberately deceptive content; expose personal information; facilitate fraud or illegal activity; encourage suicide or serious self-harm; distribute intimate images without consent; evade blocks or suspensions; manipulate ratings or engagement; probe or disrupt the service; automate access without permission; or post spoilers without the warning controls.

5. Reports and illegal-content notices

Members can report content in the app. A report marked as an illegal-content notice should identify the exact content, why it is considered illegal, the relevant country and supporting facts. We acknowledge formal notices and communicate a decision when contact information is available. Urgent safety or legal concerns can be sent to [email protected]. Do not knowingly submit false or abusive notices.

6. Moderation, reasons and appeals

We may restrict content, features or accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or enforcement of these terms. Decisions consider context, severity, applicable law, previous violations and freedom of expression. Where required, affected users receive the action, scope, factual basis, whether automation was used and available appeal route. Appeals are reviewed by a person not responsible for the original decision where reasonably possible.

7. Catalogue and third parties

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Watch-provider data is provided by JustWatch through TMDB. Trailers use YouTube and are subject to YouTube's terms. Store and provider names, artwork and trademarks belong to their owners. Third-party availability and links may change.

8. Intellectual property

The I've Seen software, visual identity and original interface content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, scrape or create a competing service from protected parts of the product. Rights in third-party catalogue assets remain with their owners.

9. Availability and termination

The service may change or experience interruption. You may stop using it and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security threats or legal requirements. We will use proportionate measures and provide notice where reasonably possible.

10. Warranties

The service is provided as-is and as available. To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of catalogue data, recommendations, provider availability or user content. This does not affect guarantees or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Liability

Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability and mandatory consumer remedy that cannot legally be limited. Subject to those protections and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Mandatory consumer protections and courts available in your country of residence remain unaffected. Questions, complaints and appeals can be sent to [email protected].

13. Changes

Material changes will be announced before they take effect where required. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply, but this does not waive any consent or consumer right that the law requires us to obtain separately.
